Enjoying life’s simple pleasures

The Golden Age Home is an elderly peoples home located in the Juwaidah area of Amman, Jordan. It was inaugurated in 1979 by His Majesty the late King Hussein.

The home serves around 130 elderly people and needs annual maintenance, which is costly. 40 years after its establishment, the home was in dire need of renovation and improvements. We chose to try to help.

By teaming up with another charity organisation, we were able to make a small contribution towards creating a very suitable garden for the residents, full of pathways, sitting areas, trees as well as an irrigation system.

It’s been so rewarding to know that our efforts have helped people who are in the final stages of life to enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
