Pre-Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates and technical proposals to meet client's requirements.

  • Determine the technical requirements to achieve customer goals.

  • Prepare RFIs and respond to RFPs related to tenders.

  • Pitch solutions to customers, explaining the features and benefits of products or services.

  • Analyze market potential before launching any product or service.

  • Manage sales activities, including preparation of quotations, bids, site surveys, specification writing, and design.

  • Communicate with internal departments to fulfill customized contracts.

  • Communicate with vendors to obtain the best offers.

  • Follow up on project milestones to ensure successful delivery.

  • Follow up with clients and build relationships.

  • Conduct site surveys when needed.

  • Calculate, review, and finalize quotations for clients.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Good communication and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work in a team and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in reading and developing AutoCAD drawings and designs using tools such as MS Visio.

  • Experience in low-current systems and IT.

  • Experience in the contracting field.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Ability to manage sales activities and deliver excellent customer service.
